Our Teachers

At our daycare, Amanda Gonzales-Gravedoni leads the way as both the Co-Owner and Primary Educator. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and certification as a Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher, Amanda brings a unique blend of expertise to our team. Drawing from her background in supportive services, on the direct and administrative sides, for individuals facing homelessness or domestic violence, Amanda is well-equipped to nurture a safe and supportive environment for all children in our program. She is also pending testing and observation for her Child Development Associate Credential to further enhance daily programming. Amanda and her husband, Jeremy, recently welcomed baby Abraham to the family who is the program’s smallest advocate.

Joining Amanda is Cohen Gravedoni, her bonus-daughter, as Childcare Assistant. Cohen’s love for children shines through as she eagerly supports our daycare’s daily operations, particularly during the summer months. A member of the swim team at Negaunee High School and an active participant in school musicals and choir performances, Cohen brings energy and enthusiasm to her role at Amanda’s Home Daycare.

Our other Co-owner and Facilities Manager is Jeremy S. Gravedoni, a native of Negaunee, Army Veteran, and father to Cohen and Abraham. Jeremy’s worldly background and varied experience lends itself to his warm demeanor. His attention to detail and involvement in our program positively impacts the children in our care.

Together, Amanda, Jeremy, Cohen, and Abraham form a dynamic team dedicated to creating a nurturing and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
